• Food & Health Data: Data you enter, such as food logs, health profile details, and preferences, is stored in Firestore.
• Usage Data: We may collect analytics data to improve app performance.

• To provide and improve the App’s functionality.
• To personalize your experience based on your health profile.
• To troubleshoot issues and enhance security.

3. Data Sharing & Security

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Data is stored securely in Firestore and locally in SwiftData.
• We implement security measures, but no system is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase Authentication for sign-in. If you scan a barcode, third-party databases may be accessed to retrieve food information.

We use Firebase Firestore for secure/encrypted cloud storage

We use Firebase Analytics for understanding user engagement and diagnostics

We use Firebase Crashlytics for disagnostics

We use Firebase Cloud Functions for our internal APIs

We use OpenAI's GPT APIs for scanning barcodes and generating food items from text

• You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at grant@metashark.io.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new terms.
